An illustration project I started months ago but never got around to finishing until now. A visual love letter to my college town, this map of San Luis Obispo highlights some of my favorite spots in this charming happy city.
I wanted to create a map pattern that would repeat itself. I started with a simple color palette and laid out the streets.
Then drew some of my favorite buildings and details.
Et voila! Some of my favorite places and memories from my time in San Luis Obispo.

I’m so extra I learned HTML and CSS for my wedding. Another project where I got to learn and build and learn and build — my favorite thing to do.
The vision was to create limited edition art pieces that celebrate things we did with friends this year.
These houses were well-designed, functional, used quality materials, and have stood the test of time. I wanted to break down the essence of these homes, study modularity, and reassemble them into configurations that resemble my street today.
In my early adult life, I bounced from one sublease to the next, trying to get through the days on the cheapest place I could find with the least commitment required. This was the journey to our first home.
Inspired by the all the stickers folks created for the 2020 election, I wanted to design stickers that encourage others to get vaccinated, and give myself some hope along the way.
In times of distress, we can complain about the unjust nature of the world, or we can see the situation from a place of positivity and gratitude.
Buildings and the spaces they enclose have character. I don’t see them as floor plans or sections, but as art.
This year I planned to reduce my fashion footprint by taking a closer look at what I’m buying, evaluating its longevity, and keeping track of it all.
With berries back in season and a whole lot of leftover flour in my cupboards, I wanted to make a simple dessert to bring to my first BBQ of the year. I illustrated the entire process.
