Still Life: Backyard Harvest

Continuing on with my still life series, I shot some more fruits and produce in my yard. I'm falling in love with contrasting textures, flawed subjects, dirty backgrounds, and dramatic light. They seem to dig deeper than the surface of perfection, and tell an intriguing story.
Nature is quiet, but doesn't forget time. If you listen, you can hear its faint whispering, hinting at the dawn of autumn and a bountiful harvest. How lucky we are to always have bowls full of abundance...
