An illustration project I started months ago but never got around to finishing until now. A visual love letter to my college town, this map of San Luis Obispo highlights some of my favorite spots in this charming happy city.

I wanted to create a map pattern that would repeat itself. I started with a simple color palette and laid out the streets.

Then drew some of my favorite buildings and details.
